About this app

Thanks to the official American Express® mobile application, you now have access to your Card Account, wherever you are. Access your Amex App with facial recognition or even fingerprint recognition. Pay your bills and take advantage of functions only available in the Amex App, available in French and also in Dutch.

FIRST ACCESS
• Log in to the Amex App using the same login credentials as your AMEX Online Card Account.
• If you have not yet set up your AMEX Online Card Account, create it directly via the Amex App.

MANAGE YOUR CARD ACCOUNT WITH EASE
• Activate your Card.
• View, change or unlock your Card PIN.
• Ask your questions to our Customer Service via chat available 24/7.
• Block and unblock your Card at any time and without delay.
• Replace your damaged, lost or stolen card directly in the Amex App.
• Edit your email within the Amex App.
• Set your Default Card. By opening the Amex App, you will automatically be taken to the home tab of the card of your choice. No need to navigate manually anymore.

PAYMENTS AND BALANCE
• View all your purchases and refunds made over the last 7 months.
• View and download your Card Account statements in PDF format.
• Check your current transactions.

When installing Amex Belux app , the TC's pop up in French only. I couldn't find a way to change language. I would have expected at least the three official languages (Dutch, French, German) and English instead of French only.

App only starts in French. Only half the app is translated to Dutch. When ever you need to change a setting, every thing is in french.

Itook Amex ages to launch this app for customers in Belgium. The app turned out to be super basic, lack features and only in French. It would have been good if one could at least consult the transactions, but they are updated with several days delay and in some oversea cases a week. Compare across countries and you see big variation of experience. Great example of Conway's law, where organization's gaps are affecting the user experience.
